FRIDAYS ARE FOR REMEMBERING MY PARENTS

This week I will be writting on one aspect of my father's character.

He was very positive in approaching life's trials and tribulations. Wherever and whenever there were negativities facing him, he will turned them into positive forces favouring him. If any body passed negative remarks on him and us his children, he will ask us to change these into challenges to be faced head on with our full strength and efforts.

Thus this strengthened our will power and determination. Nothing is impossible.

When we looked at something as a challenge what is there to be afraid of? Anything is possible and within our grasp if only we put our heart and soul fully into it.

Later when I was exposed to Steven Corvey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Successful Peoples" I was able to reconciled his second principle 'Begin with the end in mind' with my father's principle of positiveness.

Life is really exhilarating when we face our struggles with a sense of positiveness. We won't have any mental blocks. We will be facing any obstacles in front of us with the feeling that whenever opportunities appear on the horizon of our life we will be ready to strike at them and be able to fully utilize these opportunities to our best advantage.

One of our father's lasting legacy with us is this principle of positivity. It has helped us in times of difficulties as well as in times of triumph.
