Tajol Rosli said that Wanita Gerakan head Datuk Tan Lian Hoe should give an immediate clarification regarding her statement that the Malays in this country were immigrants as this had drawn anger from the Malays.
He said that Tan, as a leader of a Barisan Nasional (BN) component party, should give an explanation as demanded by Abdullah as BN chairman.
"We (Umno) in Gerik are also waiting for her clarification," he said.
Tan is the Gerik Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Information.
